Violinist Amelia Roosevelt is a founding member of Repast Baroque Ensemble. She performs with the Trinity Baroque Orchestra, the Washington National Cathedral Baroque Orchestra, the Aradia Ensemble, and the Carmel Bach Festival. She has toured throughout Europe, Central America, South Asia, and Scandinavia with Musica Antiqua Köln, Concerto Köln, La Cappella de’ Turchini, and several chamber music groups.

Amelia has given master classes at Bard College, Columbia University, Smith College, Wilfred Laurier University, and SUNY Purchase. She has served as concertmaster of the Aradia Ensemble, the West Side Chamber Orchestra, and Ensemble Nieder Rhein.

Recording credits include Naxos, MDG, New Classical Adventure, Albany Records, Deux-Elles, Linn Records, Hänssler Classic, Electra, and Capriccio. A New York City native, Amelia holds degrees in violin performance from Stony Brook University, where she studied with Joyce Robbins and Mitchell Stern; the Manhattan School of Music; and the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. She graduated with honors from Swarthmore College.
