Stacey Mastrian
, a “sweet, shimmering soprano” (The Washington Post), who is “versatile and passionate” (Der Tagesspiegel), is a Fulbright Grantee, Beebe Fellow, and Richard F. Gold Career Grant recipient. Ms. Mastrian has sung with the Konzerthaus Orchestra (Berlin), Nova Amadeus Orchestra (Rome), Experimentalstudio Freiburg at the Fondazione Cini (Venice), at the Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur (Montréal), St. Peter’s (Vatican City), and from coast to coast in the U.S.—including performances for Opera Lafayette, Summer Opera Theatre Company, and the Vocal Arts Society in D.C. Her repertoire ranges from Monteverdi through Verdi to contemporary works, with several recording projects in progress. Ms. Mastrian teaches privately and is on the faculty of American University and the Peabody Conservatory. Ms. Mastrian is a member of Opera Lafayette’s Young Artists program.
