 June Huang
June Huang is the Director of Strings and Assistant Professor of Violin at George Mason University. June’s passion for furthering the field of violin pedagogy led to the development of new degree programs at GMU. She is a guest clinician and lecturer at many camps, schools, workshops, and clinics. She is certified by the Suzuki Association of the Americas and has received research grants from the Levine School of Music and the Music Teachers National Association.

An active performer in the Washington, DC area, she has performed with Opera Lafayette, the National Philharmonic, Harrisburg Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Wolf Trap Orchestra, Washington Ballet Orchestra, and Amadeus Orchestra. She is a frequent chamber music collaborator and has appeared at the Staunton Music Festival, Red Lodge Music Festival, Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia, and Virginia Virtuosi. A specialist on the baroque violin, she plays and records with Opera Lafayette, Four Nations, Bach Sinfonia, and REBEL Baroque Orchestra. Leadership positions have included concertmaster of the Washington Bach Consort and the National Cathedral Baroque Orchestra. June is a graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara.

Todd Williams
Hailed by Gramophone for his “impressive horn playing,” Todd Williams is an active performer and educator based in Philadelphia. A leading exponent of the natural horn in America, he serves as Principal Horn of numerous ensembles across the country including Opera Lafayette, the Handel & Haydn Society, Boston Baroque, Trinity Baroque, Clarion Society, Apollo’s Fire, Mercury, Tempesta di Mare, and more. This season he served as guest principal for Tafelmusik (Toronto) and the American Bach Soloists (San Francisco), and next season he will serve as principal of Philharmonia Baroque.

On the topic of the natural horn, he has lectured at the music schools of Curtis, Eastman, and Oberlin and in 2019, joined the faculty of the Juilliard School.

On the modern valved horn, he is a staple of the Philadelphia music scene performing with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra, the city’s opera and ballet companies, and the Philly Pops. From 2003-2014, he served as solo horn of the opera festival Lyrique-en-Mer, France. He has recorded for Deutsche Grammophon, RCA/Sony Records, Atlantic Records, CORO, Naxos, Musica Omnia, Chaconne/Chandos, and Warner Brothers. Todd is a graduate of Indiana University.
